The operators of the information defense systems engage in the core of the IDF’s world of computer and cyber code. In the course they are certified to operate confidential computer and cyber systems and additional advanced systems to create supply, management and surveillance of information defense products and encryption while providing service to the IDF, the security forces and additional government offices. As a part of their job, the “Topaz” defenders examine and assimilate different projects and inspections.

Requires passing a level 3 security clearance.

What does the role include?

Basic training (02) and preparation of 4 months in Bahad 7 in “Kiriyat Hahadracha” (Camp Ariel Sharon). The training provides extensive knowledge of encryption and the IDF’s encryption core.

Where will I be placed?

Camp “Yadin” (Tzrifin base).
