The air force squad commanders’ job is divided into two-A squad commander in the field and a squad commander in instruction.

The squad commanders in instruction command, instruct and train all the air force soldiers in basic training (02), basic training - aviation course, the squad commanders course, officers preparation and more.
The squad commanders in the field command on the ground-based defence forces in the air force bases. After finishing the role preparation, the squad commanders are assigned to the field or to the instruction - depending on who matches where. Later on, there is a possibility of moving from the field to instruction and vice versa.

Profile - 72 and above
DAPAR - 40 and above
Yom Hame’a scores - for girls only:
Field - 3 and above
Human Relations - 3 and above
Guidance - 3 and above
Teamwork - 3 and above
Command - 3 and above
What does the role include?
Basic training (03) and a course of 12 weeks in “Bislah” (The infantry training school)
Where will I be placed?
In all the air force bases and units around the country.
