Some of the scores are given based on exercises or specific tests and some are given based on performance throughout the whole day. At the end of the day each category is given a score based on their performance in each of the categories. The scores are ranked on a scale from 1-5, and they are available to be seen in the “My Area” page on the “Mitgaisim” website.

How is it all done?

Yom Hame’a is done virtually, split up into to parts:

1. The first part consists of computerized tests that are done by each participant by themselves.

2. The second part is group-based and is done on Zoom in groups of 6.

Some of the participants will complete the Zoom first and then the computerized tests, and some will complete it vise-versa.

How is the day itself handled?

Different from the Tzav Rishon (First Order) which is managed by the military, Yom Hame’a is managed by two civilian institutes: The girls Yom Hame’a is managed by “Adam Milo” and the boys Yom Hame’a is managed by “Keinan Shefi”. The hours of Yom Hame’a are between 8:00-16:00. You must be available 30 minutes before it begins for registration and login.

Pay Attention!

1. For any question or technical issue throughout the Yom Hame’a, you are free to contact the phone number of the civilian institute that is in charge of the Yom Hame’a (their phone number will be given in the morning).

2. For any question regarding the Yom Hame’a before or after it happens - you are to contact the Meitav helpline through their various channels.

3. If you live abroad, you are free to contact Meitav’s digital channels for setting up the hours of your Yom Hame’a.

Before the Yom Hame’a

Two days before the Yom Hame’a you will receive an Email with a link to the computerized tests or the Zoom (depending which part of the day you begin with), you will also be added to a WhatsApp group where you will be able to get answers to questions throughout the process. In the afternoon you will get the relevant links for you for the second part.
