Here's How to Refine the Process in 5 Easy Steps:

1. The medical questionnaire you received along with the first summon can be uploaded in your personal area of the 'Mitgaisim' website or alternatively sent to Meitav's e-mail address, up to one week prior to your date of submission to the first summon. Fill out the questionnaire with your family doctor and send it to us, so you will save time waiting and shorten the time spent at the various medical stations. In addition, if relevant, you can also send us  medical certificates regarding diseases and hospitalizations.
2. You can perform a urine test at your HMO (Health Maintenance Organization) in advance and send us your results before you reach the recruitment bureau. The examination must be up-to-date and should be carried out within a maximum of three months prior to being submitted to the first summon.
3. Do you wear glasses and have a prescription number of 4 and above? Make sure to check the bottom of the eye (Fundus) with an opthalmologist rather than an optometrist. You must send us the results of the test via e-mail at Meitav@idf.gov.il.
4. If you have one of the following documents: Didactic diagnosis, psycho-didactic diagnosis, approval of the 'Hashma' committee or diagnosis of attention deficit (ADD) conducted by a psychiatrist/neurologist /psychologist - you can send them to us in advance and shorten your waiting time. These documents can be uploaded to us in the personal area of the 'Mitgaisim' website or alternatively sent via e-mail to Meitav@digital.idf.il. A copy must be brought to the recruitment bureau. It is important to note that the adjustments given in the tests, will be given on the basis of a formal diagnosis only. The preschool examinations differ in their essence and content from the matriculation exams, and therefore no adjustments will be made on the basis of a school recommendation.
5. It is advisable to prepare in advance all of the documents that you will need to bring with you to the first Call-Up. This will help avoid urgent calls to parents and extensive searches on the Internet. Prepare a detailed list with information about your health fund (name of the fund, branch name and telephone number, and the name of the attending physician), the personal details of your parents (names, ID numbers, and years of birth). If you have a foreign passport, bring a photocopy of it. Do not forget to bring certificates of academic and professional studies, such as diplomas.

Remember to come to the first Call-Up after a good night's sleep, feeling good and well rested, and after a good, satisfying meal. Good luck!
