- Volunteer year: You can postpone your enlistment by a year for volunteering for social and national activities within youth movements or settlements. You can sign-up until the end of march of your senior year at the organization or movement, through the security department.

- General \ Ofek preparatory: You can postpone your enlistment by a year for doing a pre-draft preparatory designated for the general population. In this program you will receive tools for self-empowerment, giving to the society, and a better preparation for drafting to the army. You can sign-up until the end of march of your senior year at the preparatory, through the social-security department.

- Religious preparatory: You can postpone your enlistment by a year for doing a pre-draft preparatory designated for the religious population. In this program you will receive tools for self-empowerment, giving to the society, and a better preparation for drafting to the army combined with religious studies. You will be asked to submit a personal request to Meitav that you want to postpone your draft until the end of march of your senior year. You need to send the request through the mitgaisim website or through the mail.

- Garin Nahal: You can join Garin Nahal, in which malshabs (candidates of the IDF) establish a garin, live in a commune and engage in settlements, agriculture and volunteering in the community. At the end of this year you enlist to the army as a part of Nahal. You can sign-up until the end of march of your senior year at the different garinim, through the social-security department.

- Garin Midrashot: You can join Garin Midrashot, which is designated for religious women who are interested in preparing themselves for their draft religiously. You can sign-up until the end of march of your senior year at the Midrasha, through the social-security department.

When your sign-up will be admitted and your draft postpone will be confirmed, you will receive a text message confirming your postpone. Decisions and requests for postponing drafts for these reasons are admitted until April 9th. If you did not receive a text message until this date, you need to check your enlistment date on the ‘Mitgaisim’ website.
