The activities of the Cyber Defense Division enable the existence of operational activities on land, air and sea by neutralizing enemy cyber attacks. In doing so, it affects all units of the army, both in regular times and during wartime. As part of this role, cyber shields are required to identify, analyze, and neutralize security events in various military networks
What are the admission requirements?
- Profile 25 and above
- DAPAR 60 and above
- KBA (quality group level) - 53 and above
What does the role include?
Basic training (02) and advanced training of 16 weeks
Where will I be placed?
The Heyl Ha-Tikshuv, CC4I and other branches in the IDF. The role involves signing on an additional 18 permanent months (may vary)
The screening process:
In order to be accepted to a cyber defense course, you must pass the prezmilitary sortment process: Regardless of the profile, with the appropriate quality data, you will be summoned to a primary screening tests, if you successfully pass the screening, you will be summoned for a personal interview and, after passing the interview successfully, you will be summoned to a security classification, upon successful completion of this procedure, you will be placed in a cyber defense course.
The placement in the Cyber Defense Division is determined by a number of factors that are taken into account: your personal index and preferences as well as the Military's needs.
