What is the Dapar test?

The Dapar test (initial psychotechnical rating) is an important test that greatly affects your placement process. It consists of chapters on various topics: verbal analogies, quantitative thinking, instructions and formal analogies. You do this test as part of your First Order. You will then receive your Dapar score (10-90) and a score for each chapter (1-9). You can find the score on the Mitgaisim website.  The Dapar test is an adaptive test; adjusted according to your level of thinking.

In addition, you can choose the language in which you want to be tested according to your convenience. There are 7 languages to choose from: Hebrew, Amharic, English, Spanish, Arabic, French, and Russian.

All examinees are allowed to use a calculator and can take breaks between the sections in the Dapar test. The calculators are waiting for you at the Dapar exam station. During the exam, all the students can use the option to read the instructions and the exam questions.

Students who have a learning disability in arithmetic (dyscalculia) can perform a preliminary examination to detect the disability, and if it exists, will be tested with a test adapted to their specific disability.

What about additional concessions?

• People with ADHD: you must upload the following documents to the website in order to examine your eligibility for an adapted test
• Summary of the characterization and eligibility committee:
• Full psychological diagnosis/ psycho-didactic, psychiatric, or neurological diagnosis
• Prescription for attention-deficit/ hyperactivity disorder medication/ attention diagnosis signed by a psychologist/ neurologist/ psychiatrist/ or a family doctor certified to diagnose attention disorder
• Documents indicating a medical problem
