The purpose of Yo Hamea (sorting, locating and matching) is to test your abilities in a variety of skills in order to match the best placement that combines the needs of the army, your abilities and desires.

Some of the grades are given on the basis of specific exercises or tests and some on the basis of your conduct during the day. At the end of the day, each candidate receives a score for his success in each of the sections. The scores are given on a scale of 1-5, and can be seen in the personal area of the recruiting website.

Studying for Yom Hamea

In the personal area of the Mitgaisim website you will be given the opportunity to study for Yom Hamea, which is designed to prepare you the best way for the day.

When you enter the study section, a video will appear explaining about Yom Hamea and everything you need to know in order to prepare for it. It is recommended to watch it before practicing.

You will find tests on the various topics that best simulate the real test. In addition, there are three videos that will show you everything you need to know about the group dynamics as well as training sets for independent practice. A tip from us: it is recommended to do the practice through a computer, similar to the requirements for doing Yom Hamea itself.

Step by step

So how do you get to learning on the site? Follow the steps:

1. You must connect to your personal area on the Mitgaisim website using your username and password. The practice test is in the main menu on the right side of the screen under the category “studying”.
2. After you have clicked on the studying category you will reach what you wish to study - study for Yom Hamea.
3. Within “studying” you will have two categories to choose from and practice: group dynamics and computer tests. Most of the topics that exist in Yom Hamea, each topic has several sample tests.
4. When you choose the group dynamics category, you will be shown on the right side the three stations for watching videos and downloading the content for independent practice.
5. When you choose the computer test category, all the test topics that you can practice will be displayed. In the computer test you can see immediate feedback so that you will know your correct and incorrect answers.
6. When you enter any test under “studying”, you will be given the option to choose whether to take the test with a time limit or not. The time limit in the study allows you to practice in the most similar way to the real test of Yom Hamea, but practicing without a time limit allows you to go deeper into the test and make sure you understand it as necessary. Choose the option that you think will allow you to practice to the best of your ability.
7. You can take the test as many times as you want in order to practice as much as possible before the actual test.
